PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE - ALAMO TOUR
Another formative movie of my childhood, I've seen this a hundred times! "Can you say adobe?" This scene is of Pee-Wee on his search to find his stolen bike, and being told by a sham fortune teller than his bike would be found in the "basement of the Alamo".

SERIAL MOM - THE BEST SCENES!
Serial Mom is one of my favorite movies! Above is a clip of Kathleen Turner's character prank calling a "friend" who once stole her parking spot at the grocery store. Classic!
Below is my second favorite scene of the movie. This is where the very same two characters are in court. This inspires my humor no doubt.

MOVIE TRAILER: RELIGULOUS
Here's a new documentary coming out with Bill Maher and directed by Larry Charles, he directed Borat. It looks genius. Watch the video below or go to the official Religulous site and watch it there.
Here's the synopsis:
The documentary RELIGULOUS follows political humorist and author Bill Maher (“Real Time With Bill Maher,” “Politically Incorrect”) as he travels around the globe interviewing people about God and religion. Known for his astute analytical skills, irreverent wit and commitment to never pulling a punch, Maher brings his characteristic honesty to an unusual spiritual journey. Directed by Larry Charles (BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN, “Curb Your Enthusiasm”), RELIGULOUS will mark Charles’ first feature project since the critically acclaimed, wildly successful BORAT. Jonah Smith and Palmer West of Thousand Words (A SCANNER DARKLY, REQUIEM FOR A DREAM) and Bill Maher are producing.

WATCH THIS TRAILER: KEVIN SMITH'S ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO
Hysterical, but not safe for work - it's kind of dirty, just the way I like it. Look at Traci Lords, I love it!
Lifelong platonic friends Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) look to solve their respective cashflow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the duo begin to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.

WATCH THIS: MILK TRAILER
Academy Award nominee Gus Van Sant directs Academy Award winner Sean Penn as gay-rights icon Harvey Milk. Mr. Milk (1930-1978) was an activist and politician, and the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in America; in 1977, he was voted to the city supervisors’ board of San Francisco. The following year, both he and the city's mayor George Moscone were shot to death by another city supervisor, Dan White. Mr. Milk was previously the subject of the Academy Award-winning documentary feature "The Times of Harvey Milk," but "Milk" is the first non-documentary feature to explore the man's life and career.

WATCH THIS - WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS
If you like Cameron Diaz (I do!) and you like Ashton Kutcher (I do!), then you'll really enjoy this light-hearted romantic comedy. I tend to only like them if the stars make me forget how formulaic these things can be, and in this case, they definitely did. But in all fairness, it wasn't as formulaic as most.

SEX AND THE CITY - MY REVIEW!
OK, I went and saw SATC this afternoon and I loved it. I was shocked at how well the actors and actresses inhabited their roles after 4 years away. You know how some TV shows start back in the fall and it seems to take them a little bit of time to get back into the nuances of their character? Not so much here, it was just like yesterday and isn't that how good friendships really are? I also have to say that if you're a fan, you will LOVE this. If you weren't a fan, you might still really like it - it is a good standalone piece, even if you haven't seen the series. It does help though if you have, definitely.

SHORT AND SWEET MOVIE REVIEW : SWEENEY TODD
Yesterday I watched Sweeney Todd, I ordered it from Amazon Unbox and it was sent to my Tivo for easy-viewing. I was pretty excited because I (like most people) love Johnny Depp along with the imagery that Tim Burton consistently presents. You know, the underlying menace to a seemingly whimsical situation?
