MICROSOFT HIRING DECLINE?

The article is very interesting and even a bit more interesting (if
not a little disturbing) are the comments in the "Sound Off" section.
I too would be curious to know how many American employees they have,
have hired in the last few years, etc.

I tend to believe that hiring overseas or outsourcing whole groups is
perhaps a short-term balance sheet gain, but a long-term loss for the
local and national economies. Having said that, I know and love many
people who have been hired as H-1 candidates and at least by living
here, they are contributing to the local economy.

Thoughts?
