Um, um...ok, I will try to type. This video feels as though it were made with the money they made from a lemonade stand. And when I say lemonade, I mean Jesus Juice. Seriously folks, something about this video makes me feel like they made it at Gameworks on an all-night unlimited card that they maybe had to recharge once, maybe twice. I guess I could say something about the hair on the one, it seems to be a grown-out version of Raggedy Ann. Blond yes, but the material is the same - you know it's true! Maybe the water from Fire Island made the hair frizz out, because you know those are some Long Island girls, maybe Jersey.  Ozone be damned!

Here's a brief little summary of the wacky world of showbiz:

1. Christina Aguilera gave birth to a little boy - I'm quite curious if he's orange or not.  His name is Max Liron Bratman - maybe that's my last name too. 
2. Bjork beat the hell out of another photographer - what a crazy ho!  (Dlisted)
3. Britney went to NY, Mexico, who the hell knows.  Maybe she went nowhere and just thought she did.  Ok, that was mean.  She went with her paparazzo boyfriend, does anyone find that interesting?  
4. Amy Winehouse went blond but thankfully kept the highlights of crazy.
5. Celebrity Rehab, the show, started - I'm really curious to watch this, although Jeff Conaway from Taxi already went to the hospital.  Sad really.  Rehab and cameras together, I guess that's a way to move from the F-list.
6. I Want To Be A Supermodel started on Bravo, who always has the best shows it seems, and I love it.  I do, hot people, challenges, a phat pad (like that?) and then SCREECCHHHH...America gets to decide.  WTF?  Stupid.  And then you lose me.
7. The Writer's Strike is still on.  Oh great, more American Gladiators - does anyone else feel like they're at a Monster Truck rally when that show's on?  I don't know, takes me back to childhood and frankly, not in an entirely good way.
8. A Fine Frenzy - just can't get enough, buy it on Amazon on my site.
9. Nicole Kidman really is pregnant - question: will her baby have a frozen forehead too?
10. Britney #2 - she went shopping for a new Benz (another one?) with her BF, and wore the lacy little "outfit" that she wore during her wedding reception with what appears to be cork-soled wedges.  Yuk!  (Click here if you dare)

The Greater Good

One of the best gifts I got this Christmas was from a good friend of mine, Jill. She knows my efforts and how I feel about certain things in the world and she gave me a simple card. Inside the card, it said that on my behalf she bought vaccinations for 10 dogs and 10 cats in need.  That was just the one of the sweetest things ever.  Not only do I believe in it, but I really appreciated that she gave me something that reflects that she not only knows me, but that she cares about me and my wishes.  To give is to receive, a cliche perhaps but true in my eyes. 

Sometimes it's hard to give, and it's hard to open yourself up.  It's difficult to let go of the selfishness, and easy to not want to take that step to give.  I think it's a daunting idea to give, because you feel it's not enough.  If you can't make a huge dent, or make a big change, why give at all - let's be honest, that's how many feel.  But what matters is that we are all connected, we are all branches on the same tree. If one of the branches falls ill, eventually the whole tree could die.  I try my best to operate in that mindset. Here is the website that she bought me that gift, it truly is for the Greater Good.  You can directly contribute to charity by purchasing "Gifts that Give More", or you can buy products from the online retailers they work with.  Or, you can click here to give and the advertising basically pays for the donation - yes, it's free to you!  In 2007, the network gave over $1.7 million to charity. Oh hell, if she wanted to borrow my top, that shirt would be off faster than you can imagine cause clearly, I have fashion issues. It's pretty funny around the 4 minute mark. Weird, but funny!

Carpool Dummy

Here in Seattle, police stopped a dude driving 167 in the carpool lane but get this - he had a full-on dressed dummy in his passenger seat. 

Now I ask you, who here has thought about doing that?I think anyone who travels 520 has.

Back to the story: the reason this guy was stopped is because the dummy (not the driver) was slumped over because he didn't have his seat belt on.  So let's recap: he was stopped because he appeared to be only one person in the car - LOL.  He was fined $124 and a minor accident ensued because of gawkers.  

Another side-note:  apparently the dummy is fluent in 4 languages and is really good in bed. (ok, i made that last part up)

My good friend Kimberly in Florida had to say goodbye to a second cat in a period of 4 weeks, so this movie is a nod to her and the love she gives to those around her, including her beloved animals. Kimberly, I tip my hat to you and I hope you enjoy this movie I made about those aspects of love in my world - you inspired it.

My feedback to you Janet is that you suck!  First off, the song could be anyone and I can't ever understand WTF she is saying - is that a Jackson thing?  Oh wait, there's some synchronized dancing!  I am oddly drawn to the fact they seem to be dancing on Marshmallow Fluff, which I happen to like.  

Go to sleep Janet, cause you are tired.  Oh wait, now she's dancing with a special-effect ball. Wow, maybe she should show her breasts more often - at least that's mildly interesting.

Update: It looks like Hillary pulled it out (so to speak) and will win just barely over Barack, around 39% to 37% respectively.  And McCain won as well.  Can't we just get Hillary and Barack on one ticket with a little Guiliani or McCain thrown in for good measure?  Maybe they could be on-call consultants or something.  

I like Obama, I like his energy and I like his stance on many important issues.  I like his wife and her no-bullshit style.  My concern is that he doesn't have any actual experience and this is not a job that's ideal for OJT!  I'll reserve my formal decision but as long as we get change, I'm gonna be supporting it.  We need compassion, we need separation of church and state, and we need diplomacy.  We need the world to see us as a diplomatic and economical power, not as a drunk Texan who will sock you in the face if you say something he or she doesn't like.  Well, sometimes we need that too but I digress.  Remember, you can learn more about the candidates by visiting http://projects.washingtonpost.com/2008-presidential-candidates/.

Where do you get your information about candidates in order to make an informed decision?
