From the Seattle PI:
As Sen. John McCain's campaign for president floundered between the spring of 2007 and his comeback in the New Hampshire primary, his cash starved campaign had stalwart support from the top executives of EADS North America and Airbus North America. That's the european planemaker that beat out Boeing for the contract to build the next generation of US Air Force tankers.
By Washington DC standards the $12,800 identified by the P-I is small potatoes, but it illustrates EADS/Airbus fondness for McCain.
The P-I has reported in the past that McCain has no love for Boeing, which he views as a corrupt company.
Click this link for the article and the list of some of his contributors - and as you probably know, he now has the support of President Bush. Interesting.
