Global Warming Hitting Close to Home?

There's an article in the Seattle PI that basically talks about how the oxygen levels in our waters have gotten so low that sea life is dying and some areas have actually ZERO oxygen. Much of this can be contributed to the strong winds sweeping up the deeper, colder, less-oxygen filled waters to the shallower parts, and those are typically more productive and full of nutrients. This is causing crabs, rockfish, and eels to die. While the NW waters make up 1% or less of the world's oceans, 20% of all seafood we eat comes from it. Yikes! To read this scary article, click here.
