Will it be David Cook or will it be David Archuleta? Some people feel that Cook will win because he's more "radio-ready" and has more of a personality, and some people feel Cook will win because Chris Daughtry did not, and it will be payback in people's minds. In my opinion, Cook made the choices last night that sets up his next move after Idol, rather than just trying to win the night. And as we all know, Archuleta won the night - bigtime. I also think that Idol represents the mainstream and Alt-Rock is still not as mainstream as the cheesy-pop that Archuleta has been singing, with the exception of "Imagine", which is an iconic song.
My prediction: Archuleta for the win, he's just got too good of a voice and that "aww, shucks" thing really hits people the right way.
